trying to change the height of a row. i know how to in other versions of
Word but can't seem to figure out how to in Word 2007.

Well, aside from just dragging the row boundary, you can go to Table
Properties and select the Row tab. Unfortunately, you can no longer bring up
the Table Properties dialog by double-clicking the table handle as in
previous versions, but when the insertion point is in a table and the
contextual Table Tools are displayed, select the Layout tab and click
Properties in the Table group.

You can also get properties by clicking anywhere in the table and choosing
Table Properties from the right-click menu.

Except when you can't. There are some context menus on which Table
Properties doesn't appear; for example, if you happen to click in a word
that is marked as misspelled, you'll get the Spelling context menu, which
doesn't include Table Properties.
