I have a table with many columns.

Let's say column F is YTD Actual and column G is Budget. The % Varianc
column is H.

I need a formula for word that will calculate the variance in percentag
format.

Can this be done?

I tried an excel formula and it didn't work

If you can't do it in Excel, the likelihood that you can do it in Word is
very small. If you mean that you tried to use in Word the formula that you
would use in Excel, then that won't work, either, because Word is not Excel.
What is the formula you tried?
